Very simple but the overall tree has some heft to it. So setup in place. Once assembled it will take some time to straighten out branches. Give it about an hour or two. The tree looks very realistic and most people assume it’s real. The lights are easily connected and saves you time from having to string lights. **Q: what size is the box it comes packed in?** A: The tree is in four pieces, so the box was about 6ft long. We threw the box away and store it in an attic space so we don’t have to re fluff the limbs each time **Q: Does it come with a remote to change light settings?** A: There is not a remote to change the light functions.
