### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's Old, It's Corny, It's Classic Old Style Jackie Chan

These have to be some of Jackie Chan's earliest works.I think it takes a true aficionado to fully appreciate this collection.This would be a 'must have' for any serious collector, to be complete.As an aficionado, I enjoy this collection the same as I do the old Keystone Cops movies, or W.C.Fields, Laurel and Hardy, and other unique, if dated, classics. We need to judge them in the light of the times in which they were created; not compared to modern film making techniques. It would be like comparing a classic model T Ford to the latest Ferrari. They each hold their own special place in history.

### ⭐⭐ Poor quality transfers of hard to find movies with Jackie Chan

I would only recommend this to someone who wants a collection of all of Jackie Chan's films. These are some hard to find kung-Fu/chop-socky movies with Jackie Chan in them. But calling this The Jackie Chan Collection is a stretch. While I enjoy (most of) the movies themselves, the poor video and audio bring the rating way down for this collection.The only movie that has Jackie in a starring role is "Master with Cracked Fingers". It's also the only movie that fans of "the Jackie Chan style" might be even remotely interested in as it does show a bit of his style, but this set is not worth it for a casual Jackie Chan fan.The quality of the movies on these DVDs are very poor. They are quite obviously ripped from full-screen (1.33:1 ratio) video tapes. You can even see the video noise from the degraded tapes that were copied. The audio is on the same quality, which is only the English dub track. There is absolutely no digital mastering done here.
