Review: Comfortable - I injured my pinky and the first phalanx was drooping, so I’d been wearing a basic Velcro brace. It was super uncomfortable and kept moving around, so I decided to try this one. Huge difference. It’s really comfortable, stays in place, and I can use my keyboard with no problem. It supports my finger without putting any pressure on it. I’m using size #1 and it fits perfectly.
Review: Perfect splint for anyone with a Mallet finger (avoid figure 8 splint!!) - This is the 2nd time I have experienced this injury (2nd time being more severe with the fracture). The splint provided by my doctor was a similar style, but was harder plastic & did not have the split top that this one has, so there was a slight gap between my finger and the splint. Features I love about this splint (there are a lot): protects the finger and keeps the top joint immobilized, has a split top so as the swelling in the finger changes you can adjust and keep the fit snug, the Velcro removes the need to have sports tape around, the material of the plastic decreases the "gym foot" smell that can occur with a splint, it is less noticeable in day-to-day activities - both from my perspective and to others (don't have to constantly answer what happened to your finger), and finally there are two in the package so you can rotate to clean and not be without splint at any time. Another option I have seen recommended for a mallet finger is the "figure 8" type splint; there is simply no way this splint could provide the protection you need with a mallet fracture. You would be shocked at the amount of times you bump your finger on things throughout the day & the figure 8 splint will not protect your healing finger from these encounters. This may actually be the first desertcart review I have written, but I am so pleased with this product that I felt the need to let others know how tremendous it can be in the healing process. A mallet finger can take anywhere from 4-8 weeks to heal, depending on the severity, so you really want to have a splint you are comfortable with and I give the Thinvik splint my 100% seal of approval.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Support for mallet finger supports
*by F***D on February 17, 2026*

The finger supports fit well and worked perfectly. There is a velcro closure, so it was not necessary to have to mess around with tape and tape residue. The seam at the top of the finger support was sometimes a bit irritating, but on the whole, they worked well, and I will be ordering more.
