Length is good for shorty like me and the ties length was enough to wrap around my waist with a little bit left over. I was expecting the fabric to be cotton but it doesn't feel like it and tying the ties at first to the right length from the neck, was little bit fiddly. It's not as comfortable as a cotton fabric apron but the split is handy and is easy to wash out. It's an attractive apron and the red colour is bright. The pockets on the front are convenient.
