Might be worthwhile to custom order it from Seemore...

*by C***O on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on October 25, 2014*

The reason I suggest considering a custom order is that the putters stocked at Amazon seem like standard orders or random orders: velcro headcovers, a red Tour classic grip, 70 degree lie, etc... I ordered a 36 inch model from Amazon and received it with the red Tour Classic grip (which is nice) and the standard black Seemore headcover with a velcro enclosure. I never liked velcro for headcover enclosures since they are noisy, slower to use than magnets, and can wear out over time.SeeMore advertises a standard FGP to have 2.5 degrees loft and a 70 degree lie. I used my digital measuring instruments and measured 2.5 / 70 degrees exactly. The length was even spot on, and the grip was properly installed square to the putter. I have never seen this done on a mass produced brand like TaylorMade, Nike, Odyssey, or Cleveland. However, the shaft looked like a cheap run of the mill no-name brand, since it was painted black at the tip area and is stepped (most of the higher-end putters use stepless shafts) without any branding. The head looked like it was cast with some milling done on the face, and the powdercoating process was good but made the putter feel a bit cheap. I contacted SeeMore and after a few tries with customer service, they were starting to send coherent emails. They say that the FGP heads are all cast in China and do not have serial numbers. They are finished in California (which I assume is where the milling is done) and assembled in Tennessee. They also claim the shaft is made by True Temper in the US, shipped to China for painting, and then shipped back to Tennessee for assembly. I told them that I couldn't find the True Temper logo/branding anywhere on the shaft. SeeMore wasn't sure why there wasn't any type of logo on the shaft. I suspect it is because they are using the lower end True Temper shafts (like the Score LT) which do not have the usual black printed TrueTemper logo - such as those on the Dynamic Gold shafts. The build quality is good, but the fit/finish makes the putter feel like something is worth only 1/3 or 1/2 the retail price! The RST aiming feature is pretty intuitive. I never had a problem hiding the red dot with my putting technique, but I still have issues with consistently rolling the ball to the hole. At times, I felt the FGP isn't anymore effective than an offset hosel blade putter. But the FGP has a very soft feel at impact, which is hard to describe other than saying it is much softer than most putters (even those with inserts) but not so soft that there's no feedback. The big feature of the center shaft design of the FGP is that it is face balanced at impact. Using the normal way of checking toe hang, the toe will drop straight down. Using SeeMore's method of tilting the putter by the shaft, the face actually stays square. So the theory is that at impact, the FGP has a tendency to stay square/balanced versus closed or open. I find that I have better distance/speed control and not just directional control.Overall: 4/5 stars, rather pricey for what comprises the FGP. I feel that if it were about half the price new, it would be a super deal. If you really like the FGP, you may consider ordering it straight from SeeMore to have more grip and headcover options, as well as length and lie options. It took several emails before customer service provided me with the info I wanted on the FGP. I also recommend using their online fitting tool page to see their recommended configuration.UPDATE 27 OCT 2014I measured another FGP putter, one that was custom ordered straight from SeeMore. There is a tag with the specs hand-written by the inspector: 36" length, 70 degree lie. I measured the length to be 36", and the loft to be around 2.4 degrees. However, the lie was really off at 67 degrees! I also noticed numerous paint blemishes on the painted part of the shaft.

Seemore FGP - An Outstanding Buy!

*by M***E on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on November 6, 2012*

This is a long review, so please, bear with me.Hands down, this is one of the BEST putters I have ever used. The feel, balance, and pure confidence I experience when I have the FGP in my hands is something I've never experienced before. The absolutely perfect feel I get with this is something I don't think I can ever do without anymore.* Balance: 5/5 *Let me give you a little background. I was a pretty mediocre player, playing at about a 15 HCP. The problem was my putting - I hit GIR's about 40-50% of the time, but I dreaded taking my flat stick out of the bag. I never felt confident over the ball. If I got away from any hole with a two putt, I considered myself lucky; however, three putts were the norm. It wasn't because I'm not sure of my putting stroke - it's a slight inside out path - it's just that putter manufacturers design their putters that are incorrectly prescribed to amateurs. Let me explain. The basic issue is this - take any face balanced putter and balance it horizontally (along the shaft) on your index finger - the face points dead flat up. Similarly, a toe balanced putter has the toe of the putter pointing straight down. And THIS is where the problem lies. A putter that is balanced a certain way horizontally, does NOT translate to the same balance when held vertically (obvious, I know). So, a putter that is said to be face balanced is in fact NOT FACE BALANCED at impact at all! So you end up with a putter that you *think* matches your putting stroke but you're actually fighting it all the way to the hole. This is where my FGP is brilliant. It appears to be toe balanced when I balance it horizontally, which is absolutely not my putting stroke. But bring it down to its natural lie angle and it's perfectly face-toe balanced! I feel a sense of balance when I'm set up that is incomparable. It's EXACTLY the way I believe putting should feel - completely NATURAL.* Feel: 5/5 *The FGP, when struck purely or even on off center hits, feels way better than the following putters that I have owned/tried over the years: Ping Nome, Ping Anser, Ping Faith (a women's putter, I know...I was desperate), TaylorMade Manta, Nike Method (both the Drone and Midnight models), Odyssey White Ice (Two-Ball), and Scotty Cameron's California. I believe it has a milled stainless steel face, which is simple and the touch it gives me is excellent. Try it at a store - and ding me if I'm wrong.* Precision: 5/5 *Okay, this is hands down the best part of the putter: its precision. I regard myself as a complete putting idiot. But I know that I was streaky as hell simply because I wasn't comfortable with the use or the setup with any of the other "traditional" putters. You have to put the ball slightly ahead of your stance, put your weight a little forward, angle the putter a little forward and swing through....way too many things to get right before you can even take a swing.Enter RST - Rifle Scope Technology. The whole idea here is absurdly simple - line up the putter dead center of your stance so that the red dot is hidden by the two white lines on either side. Once you have that done (which takes 2 seconds), you're square. You can swing. That's it. Seriously, even the weakest of all putters then has to only deal with one thing - feel; and that's something that the FGP provides in heaps.* My results: *What was the result of this simplification? The FIRST DAY I took the FGP out, I had a birdie FROM 10 FEET from the fringe on a downhill right to left slider. I was so confident I was set up and lined up correctly that all I had to think about was how hard to hit it. Stats from the rest of the round (9 holes, not 18): 2 one putts (including the birdie), 7 two putts. NO three putts - not one. Shot a 37 on a par 35.It's now been about 2 months since I've bought this putter, and when I play, I cannot wait to get to the green. I now actually feel excited - no matter how far out I am from the hole - to putt. I feel I have a shot at making *anything*. I've made uphill 20 footers, sideways sliding and downhill 12 footers. Another stat, and probably the most important one, is my % of makes from within 6 feet has shot up. Now when I'm trying to get up and down, I know that I don't need to get into the magical land of the three foot circle; if I can get it to within 6 feet anywhere around the hole, I have just as good a shot at making it (which has, ironically, improved my short game by relieving pressure). Contrasted with how terrified I was to putt, this is poles apart. I'm now at a ~7 HCP solely because of this club.BOTTOM LINE: I would recommend this putter to absolutely anyone. It's done wonders for my game. It's simple, precise, and feels absolutely like silk. No gimmicks, no complicated stances and swing thoughts required for use - just hide the red dot and hit it. GET the Seemore FGP NOW!

This putter is very accurate, well made. The cheap red rubber pistol grip is a dissapointment. I installed a Flatso #3. Best putter i own. If you like blades give this center shafted beauty a try. Line it up its very consistant. Odd only only pro of note using it is Zach Johnson, hes won a Masters and Open with it. if your a feel putter this one is for you.
