## Description

Product description Specifications - Relay Type: 5V 1-Channel - TTL gate circuit - Quiescent Current: 5mA - Maximum Current: 190mA - Trigger Current: 3 - 5mA - Trigger Voltage(LOW): 0 - 1.5V - Trigger Voltage(HIGH): 2.5 - 5V - NO Maximum Load: AC 250V, 10A or DC 30V, 10A - Power Indicator: Green - Relay Status Indicator: Red - Size(L x W x H): 51*26*19mm - Weight: 17g How high/low level triggers selection terminal High level trigger acts when jumper wire and high pin are short connected Low level trigger acts when jumper wire and low pin are short connected Input interface DC+ : positive pole of power supply (VCC, voltage=5V) DC- : negative pole of power supply(GND) IN : connection to control relay pickup by high/low level trigger Output interface NO : connection of normally open state(the relay switch is dangling before pickup, the switch will connect with "COM" after pickup) COM : common interface of relay switch NC : connection of normally closed state(the relay switch is connected with "COM" before pickup, the switch will be dangling after pickup) Package List 10x 5V 1-Channel Relay Module Connection Method of Normally Open Circuit - When the signal trigger terminal has a high or low level signal (as per setting function), the relay picks up, which is equivalent to the switch closing. At this time, the circuit is turned on, the device will be energized and work normally. Connection Method of Normally Closed Circuit - When the signal trigger terminal has a high or low level signal (as per setting function), the relay picks up, which is equivalent to the switch being turned off(initial switch state is opened). At this time, the device will be powered off and stop working. Diagrammatic drawing and schematic circuit diagram of relay connection - When there is no voltage in the relay coil, the relay does not pick up, the common contact is connected to the NC contact. - When there is voltage, the relay picks up, and the common contact is connected to the NO contact.

Review: Versatile little 5V Relay board. - Well documented above, rare for such DIY parts. No soldering required (for those who don't like that). Very versatile, you can reverse the input logic with the jumper. I also like that the output terminal provide both NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally closed) so it can adapt to your application when you lose power to the boards with NO or NC. I find the green power LED very bright. I might remove it from the board. The red LED is just bright enough in my opinion. Very well packaged, individually wrapped, they look like candies! Works well driving and powering the relay with a Wemos D1 mini with the D6 pin (digital 6). I have flashed the Wemos with Tasmota. WOULD BE A KILLER BOARD IF: it was combined with a transformer and regulator so it could produce 5V from the OUTPUT lines. I mean I'm mostly driving 120V on the relay output side. If the board could take Line+Neutral, then you could power the relay board and the Wemos micro without an external power supply. Essentially, creating a smaller Sonoff. Martin Politick January 2020.
Review: Worked for me at 3.3v, opto-isolation can also help protect your logic-level circuits. - I used these for an ESP32 project to trigger my garage door to open. They are listed at 5v, but I have had no issues triggering them at ESP32's native 3.3v. I didn't read closely at the time of purchase, but they are optically isolated, which adds a level of safety I don't need in that project but opens some doors to other applications for the other 9.

## Features

- 【Control Devices】The 1-channel relay module uses genuine high quality DC5V relay and SMD opto-isolator supporting high/low level trigger, widely apply to control various AC/DC appliances, and other devices with large current.
- 【Load Range】NO(Normally open) maximum load < AC 250V/10A, < DC 30V/10A. Trigger current of opto-isolator: 5mA.
- 【Fault-tolerant Design】The relay will not operate even if the control line is disconnected.
- 【Universal Interface】Equipped with screwed terminal plate and fixed bolt holes(diameter: 3.1 mm) on both sides for easy installation.
- 【High Compatibility】The relay module can be controlled directly by 5V logic signals from microcontroller(8051, AVR, PIC, DSP, ARM, Raspberry Pi, MSP430, TTL logic etc)

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked for me at 3.3v, opto-isolation can also help protect your logic-level circuits.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pairs nicely with an arduino or other microprocessor
*by S***O on August 6, 2023*

It's well thought out. It's easy to control the relay from a low power processor pin - just a couple mA will do the job. You can select whether the relay is triggered by a Vcc or ground signal, and the relay itself is SPDT. It works fine at 5v. The board has a power LED, which is annoying because power drain is an issue with battery circuits, and a separate LED which lights when the relay is energized, which is more acceptable. They can be removed. The relay itself is small and won't switch high currents at high voltages, but you can easily use it to control small lights, little motors or a larger relay. Pleased.
