These tools are necessary for beekeeping. I use the red handled tool every time I open the hive. It's necessary to get the frames out and get them unstuck. It helps to pull them out easily. Great quality.

The brushes are lighter than i assumed the size would be.

Brushes very soft, extremely unlikely to harm bees in any way. The flat j, hooks is easier to catch the hive frames than the flat prybar style tools. A good chiseled blade with a side and a top cutting surface prevents weird angles. Price was right too.

With two of the brushed you can have one handie at all times. And you can use extra hive tools

Best hive tool we own. Great hook for loosening propylis and lifting frames. The brushes aren't used much but tool was worth it.

Can hardly wait to use them once bee hives are setup. Two soft brushes for moving bees without hurting or damaging them or hive. Also a sturdy pry tool. Great tools to care for bees.

I am happy with this hive tool kit. We used it all summer and must say it works great. the brush is very soft and doesn’t harm the bees, the hive tool is my favourite tool yet. You can work on the frames without damaging honey comb.

At first I wondered why the kit had 2 brushes but it’s perfect because we can both use one at the same time. Excellent bee starter set.
