I would say in general it would make three generous servings if you were eating nothing else, and more if you have a side dish, or bread (like with chili). I cook for one and so try to keep it small even with freezing as I don't want to eat the same thing so often I get sick of it. The pot would have held more, so I could have nearly doubled the amount if guests were coming or if I were using it for a pot luck.
