The problem with the R99 was that there was no change in resistance as the level increased. I would guess that this machine will have the same problem. What I found out about LifeCore was that once they get your money you will never get it back, despite all their promises about money back guarantees. They were fully aware that the R99 did not work but they turned a deaf ear if you called to complain about it. They went as far as completely misrepresenting both the R99 and R88, claiming in their ads that it had a steel flywheel. They only changed their story about the R99 and R88 after I sued them, and won, in court. So, they discontinued the R99 model and replaced it with this one.
