This was useful have her had some use back, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a dog that can’t support any weight with his hind legs, because of the placement only being under his legs and no weight is distributed any where that can bear the weight. (Like a rear-lifting harness)That said, once Teddy was walking a little again, this was perfect for quick potty breaks where squatting was a chore. Putting this harness on is so difficult if you're dog cannot get up on his own and stand still for you to to put it on and adjust it correctly. Once your dog is up and the harness is on it works okay. But for my dog who could not get up on his own this harness was useless.
