BUT WAIT *by P***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 25, 2017* I wear an American size 9.5, so I ordered the European size corresponding to an American size 10, since I had read in some reviews that the shoe came a bit small. When I first tried them on, I thought they seemed too small. My heel stuck out over the rear, and I was disappointed. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! Then I noticed that my toe in each shoe was nowhere near the front of the shoe. So I concluded that the shoes simply weren't built roomy enough for my tall arches. But then I noticed the elastic on teach side of the shoe. I kicked the toe of the shoe gently against the wall, and my foot went straight in to where it should be. I'm now confident that after a brief "break-in" period, these shoes will be just what the doctor ordered, so to speak. I love them. The design is great. The heel no longer hangs over the back edge. They're still a bit snug, but I can feel the pressure diminishing already. They're going to be just fine. Order with confidence: get a size larger than you usual.
