I thought this was identical, but it's only got 10 ropes between separator bars and my old had 12. Those missing 2 ropes really do make a difference in comfort. I guess for the price it's OK, but not sure I would buy it if I had to decide again.UPDATE: 4/17/2016 - I would definitely not buy this if I had it to do over again. Very uncomfortable and very difficult to center yourself. Me, my wife and kids can get on it and feel safe. However, after just one summer, the knots slowly but surely started to unwind one by one until it was no longer usable. Really hoped it lasted years where we could create memories. Will have to find something better made. ### ⭐⭐ S hooks DO NOT hold 500lbs *by K***D on Reviewed in the United States on April 25, 2017* Just received and installed the hammock a couple of weeks ago. Loved it, BUT... in regard to the 500lb weight capacity; while the cotton rope portion of the hammock may support that weight, the "S" hooks provided DO NOT. My daughter and I tried to use the hammock together for the first time, with a combined weight of less than 400lbs, and one of the "S" hooks stretched suddenly and we fell to the ground pretty hard. Luckily, neither of us was injured too badly, aside from bruising and scrapes.In short, buy some sturdy carabiners to go along with this hammock.
