Plugged it in, set Jumbo Frames to 9000, and made this the first in the oder priority in the Mac's Network Settings and connected via Cat6 to a Unifi 48 port switch. I cannot believe how much quicker everything feels (I was using the Caldigit 1GBe connection to a full Unifi setup and it wasn't slow), but websites appear instantly (Virgin Cable 380Mbps Down 38Mbps up). And transferring data from my QNAP TS453A NAS (with 4x 1GBe ports with trunking) was incredibly fast.
