No modification required. No extra tube tube required (although you might still want one for convenience). Why spend $120.00++ with others? Over 300% More?? Amazon delivered this to me for $37! In two days. My PCP Marauder 25 took 3000psi from it right out of the box with no problem ... just orient the pressure gauge downward & carefully position the barrel above, then pressurize away! The build quality even seems very solid, I expect it will last for many years. It did not disappoint. Paired it with the Ninja 4500 PSI whip bought on Amazon too, and the total price came out much less than the Crosman set up. Have it hooked up to a 3000 PSI SCUBA tank and now my Benjamin Marauder and I are best of friends.This unit feels solid, and mounts to the K valve on my SCUBA tank perfectly. You don't have to use much pressure to seat it on the tank, just enough to secure it, that's all. The bleeder valve works as expected, no complaints there. This is a solid performer anyway you look at it. Also, looks and exudes quality.
