    I usually wear a 5 1/2. My feet are a bit on the wide size but I've never needed to buy wide sized shoes. I bought these a half size larger and they are still quite tight, definitely not like my other pair of Earth shoes. They aren't uncomfortably tight, but I can see them getting misshaped very easily from wear because the leather is kind of soft and you can clearly see the outline of my foot. But I like them too much to send them back and I got a good deal on them.

    the shoe is beautiful. I ordered 3 pairs the following occurred.My daughter wears a 7.5 size. She couldn't place her foot into the size 7.5 shoes I wear a size 6.5 and the size7 was too big in the heel, however, was perfect around the upper foot and toes.My Mom wears a size 5.5 in a shoe the size 6 was tight in the upper part of the shoe and there is space around the heel.

    Excellent shoe. Immediately comfortable no break-in period needed. Wish they had it in a few more colors. It's the kind of shoe that you'll wear often and a few years from now wish you'd had bought a couple of pairs.
