I didn't find anything when I was searching, I wasn't crazy about the price either. It is a piece of metal, but it fits perfectly in the spots that it needs to fit into and it's a pretty high grade piece of metal. Depending on what you paid for the monitor, which seem to vary in price from $300-$500 trusting it to a cheaper piece of metal may not be advisable.

It's recommend that you look at the back of your monitor to look at the placement of the mounting screws. Then look at the image of the adaptor. If it looks correct, order it. If it doesn't fit, Amazon has a generous return policy and will take it back.
