I bought an extra mains adapter to feed another side of my kitchen cupboards using the other section of LEDs. I ordered from Amazon. LightingWill 12V 1A LED Power Supply 12W Power Adapter 100-240V AC to 12V DC 1Amp 12Watt Wall Plug LED Transformer very similar to the one supplied with the lights. Mine works great. Very pleased with lighting as well. **Q: Are these better fitted toward back of cupboards or to front edge?** A: I experimented by using sticky tape and put part of a row under cupboard to see where the light "lit" I'm glad I did as my original idea was at the front of the cupboard still underneath. But there is more light shone on the worktop if you set them about 7-8cm from front. As someone says please degrease where you going to stick. After degreasing I used an alcohol wipe and let it dry. Very pleased with lights. **Q: Can these lights be put in a square shape...i.e....on the back of a TV?...if so do you get enough corner connectors?** A: Corner connectors as such are not supplied with this kit. I would suggest cutting the required size for the 4 sides of the square then carefully solder short lengths of 2-core bell wire to the strip ends to turn the corners. **Q: Is it possible to get a longer power lead or an extension for existing lead?** A: yes you can buy detention power leads they look like 3.5mm male and female ended plug and socket. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars What an amazing piece of technology. *by P***J on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 November 2020* This is the product I've been waiting for. Wow, what a piece of technology at such an affordable price. Very easy to install, the led strips adhere to the cupboard (I did de-grease and clean with alcohol wipes 1st) and they are more than bright enough. You can turn the brightness down by the small control panel. The same panel that has sensor on it for you to just scan your hand underneath. Brilliant product. I am now looking for family and freinds who want me to put up cupboard lighting for them. It's very effective and has enhanced the look of our kitchen. Very low profile so perfect if you don’t have a trim around the bottom of your units.Issues:Extension wire is not long enough to be very useful . 2 are supplied but only about 30cm long. Could do with being at least 0.5m.The on off control is a ridiculous idea. It’s marketed as being useful as if you have water on your hands you can still operate the light. Reality is that the sensor is very sparadic and goes off randombly of if you turn off your main light the side lights turn off. I have gotten around this by taping over the sensor and now controlling the lights with the plug switch.I think it is a clear case of the marketing team overthinking and or trying to find some USP. Reality is a physical switch would be much preferred. Every other light in the kitchen has a switch you touch anyway and who the heck is turning lights on / off while your doing the dishes.
