One I got it adjusted the first time (took about 10 minutes), it slipped on very easily -- even easier than a regular collar and leash because my dog can't try to eat it when I go to put it on. ;) The velvet straps that wrap under the body and around the legs are super soft. My dogs doesn't have any issues with rubbing or chafing from this product. I would have given this product 5 stars except that it doesn't restrain my dog as well as I had hoped when he tries to run after something. I have used a gentle leader in the past and it worked well to keep him from "charging," however, I was looking for something as effective or more effective since he chews through the gentle leader in about a week. This product is very good and I highly recommend. The best features, it’s not overly bulky, strong, multiple options to teather a leash, and has padded strap under the chest. I haven’t seen any irritation on him from wearing it.
