## Questions & Answers

**Q: how do you get the tranya B530 to play at the same time**
A: The Tranya seller mentioned the method I used when I couldn't get them out of mono mode.
Make sure you remove them from your phone's Bluetooth settings, then after the lights flash from the reset, re-pair them to the phone. Worked for me.
If you search on YouTube for "How to reset the Tranya Upgraded B530 (B530 Pro)" then you should come across the video that shows how to do the reset.

**Q: Are there two microphones?**
A: Yes, each side has one microphone.

**Q: Wasn't the charging case previously advertised as 80hrs? i don't know if i'm crazy but i'm pretty sure it was when i bought it.**
A: I am sorry that the box is the same as the original B530, the upgraded B530 total battery life should be 80hrs. You can test the battery life and let us know your opinion.
I am sorry for the misunderstanding.

**Q: Can we get an hour of playtime with 10 mins of charging the buds?**
A: I think you should be able to get more than an hour of playtime from 10 minutes for charge, although I wasn't keeping an eye on the clock so I can't tell the exact amount of playtime these earbuds give on a single charge, but it certainly was more than 1 hour.

Great sound and outstanding battery life with useful touch controls

*by N*** on Reviewed in the United States on May 27, 2020*

I previously purchased the original version of the Tranya B530 headphones and liked them so much that I bought a second pair for my wife. When Tranya offered me an opportunity to test out the B530 Pro updated version, I figured I'd give it a shot and see how they compared. In short, these are great bluetooth headphones with excellent sound quality, long battery life, and well integrated touch controls. There are many options at this price point, but you really cannot go wrong with these. In terms of sound quality, I don't consider myself an audio expert, though as a video producer, I spend much of my day with studio headphones on listening for pretty nuanced things in a recording, and I can honestly say these stack up pretty well against much more expensive headphones. They cover the range from low to midrange to highs without sounding overdone or artificial. Some headphones try to compensate for underpowered drivers by overemphasizing the bass at the expense of crisp highs or a pleasing midrange. You can definitely hear all of that range with these, and it sounds very nice, very clear. Podcasts sound great with a very pleasing midrange to accurately capture vocal tones, and music sounds full and rich. Phone calls also sound clear, but more on that below.Battery life of the previous model was already great, so I rarely had to think about charging the case. LED indicators on the case tell you when it is getting low with four indicator lights so you know when the case needs recharging, and of course every time you put the headphones in the case and they lock into the magnetic contacts, they charge automatically. I've never had them die on me during listening, and I will often listen for hours on end. In the first week I've had this model, my experience has been the same, and I believe the battery life is supposed to be even better with these upgraded ones. One area that I feel is significantly better on this model versus the previous generation is the touch controls. I loved the touch control on the older model, but it was a bit finicky. Sometimes I'd double tap to increase or decrease volume and it would pause the music instead. Other times, I would be adjusting them in my ear and accidentally hang up during a phone call. With these, the intended touch control, single tap, double tap, triple, etc. works as it should, and because they've refined the sensitivity apparently, you don't get the unintended hangups when just adjusting the headphone in your ear during a call (you have to hold for a second rather than any momentary touch).A little bit about the noise canceling properties. These do not have active noise canceling that processes audio signals like more expensive headphones. What it has is passive noise canceling and from that standpoint, it works pretty well. Basically, the design of the silicone headphone tips block some environmental noise from interfering with your listening. Since these come with three sizes, you should be able to get a good fit in both ears, and I've found I can even mow the lawn and listen to podcasts comfortably without mower noise interfering with listening. Mind you, I can still hear the mower, but it's much less noisy. Even better, I ordered Tranya's memory foam tips and it even further reduces outside noise, similar to wearing foam ear plugs, only music is coming through them. The noise canceling that is advertised here is built into the mic, so it really only impacts phone calls, that is, making your voice clearer to the person on the other end. It's difficult to assess the effectiveness of this feature since I can't hear how I sound to the person on the other end, but people tell me my voice comes through clearly, even when there is a bit of background noise. I tried doing some audio tests where I recorded my voice with background noise to see if there was a difference between these and the older model, but I can't say I noticed a difference. I'd say this is a nice feature that may help make calls clearer, but it's not a main selling point. Overall, the call quality is very good, and it's convenient to switch between music or podcasts and calls with the touch controls.Other points of interest, these are well made from the headphones to the case. They hold up to sweat from workouts and the still stay in your ears pretty well, even during a pretty active workout. As I mentioned, they come with three sizes of silicone tips, so you should be able to get a good fit that is comfortable. I will say that I sometimes have to push them in and turn them back toward the back of my neck for a more secure fit. The position can also impact audio quality, so be sure to try some different positions to get the best sound and fit. I did find that the memory foam tips that I ordered separately made the fit even better, so something to consider. I sometimes wish headphones like this came with a over the ear piece to make them even more secure, but I'd say they stay better than other headphones I've owned with little fuss. The only other thing I'd mention is that these can be paired as mono (single headphone or two separate device playing back in mono) or as a stereo pair. I assume most people would want the stereo pair, and sometimes things get screwed up if you try to pair and they are not close enough together. It's easy to reset them and re-pair them to fix this, and it usually stays paired correctly once you do it once, but once in a great while, they do need a reset. That's my experience with the old model though, so maybe that's been improved upon. It only takes about 30 seconds, so it's not a huge deal, and it rarely happens, but just something to be aware of. Overall, I'd say the bluetooth is improved on these with greater range and it doesn't seem to drop out or disconnect as the old model occasionally did.I'd say if you already own the B530, there isn't enough difference that you probably need to upgrade unless they are getting long in the tooth, though the new touch controls are nice. But if you're in the market for a new pair of headphones, I'd highly recommend these.

    Earbud Comparison

*by L***H on Reviewed in the United States on March 1, 2020*

The is a comparison of the 3 earbuds I recently purchased. I usually listen to these buds at the office while atwork. I’m a software engineer and music relaxes me when I am deep in thought about software issues. Ialso use these on my runs connected to my Garmin watch to listen to stored music.* GoNovate Airo - bought 5 months ago for $48 * Build quality - feels like it was built out of the cheapest plastic, but they are very light and compact * Sound - tinny and lack of bass * Battery - lasts almost all day at work, have not tested how many charges I get from the dock * Comfort - very light and its a very comfortable fit in my ears * Bluetooth range - about 50 feet at work, cuts out when I go into my work men’s room (TMI, right?) * Bluetooth pairing - pairing inconsistent and sometimes have to recycle earbud power to pair * Controls - pushbuttons are cheap and sticky, must push down with some force for them to work** Tranya T3 - bought 3 weeks ago for $32 * Build quality - feels like better quality plastic, but they are larger and a little heavier than the Airo * Sound - good with full bass, liked these more than the Airo sound * Battery - last almost all day at work. Number of dock recharges not tested * Comfort - the default ear pads were too large and they now fit very well going down one size, weight and size not on issue * Bluetooth range - Put this at > 50 feet as it stays connected even when I go into my work men’s room * Bluetooth pairing - always pairs when taking the buds out of the dock, never an issue * Controls - pushbuttons have a decent feel and less force required than the Airo** Tranya B530 - bought 3 days ago for $59 * Build quality - feels like the same quality level as the T3 * Sound - richer and fuller sound than the Airo and T3. More efficient than T3 (louder at same volume level) * Battery - last almost all day at work. Number of dock recharges not tested * Comfort - the default ear pads out of the box fit perfectly, weight and size not an issue in my ear * Bluetooth range - Put this at > 50 feet as it stays connected even when I go into my work men’s room * Bluetooth pairing - always pairs when taking the buds out of the dock, never an issue * Controls - Touch controls are easy to use, just need to get used to using less forceFinal WordsI was not totally satisfied with the Airo earbuds. They just felt cheap but they did do an excellent job packagingeverything into a light and comfortable earbud. But, when I bought the T3, I no longer wanted to use the Airo buds. I then bought the B530 buds to compare to the T3. The Airos cost $48, but I don’t know how they can justify that high price point when comparing to other products in their category. I would go with the T3 for sure over the Airo.Tranya B530 had the best sound which is the ultimate goal here. Comfort is good and it has never fallen outof my ears. Bluetooth pairing is a snap and l like the lighter touch controls as I don’t keep pushing the buds further into my ears every time I hit the controls. Bluetooth range and performance is excellent as I leave these on when walking around the office. I worked with wearable devices and there are hundreds of Bluetooth devices in my work environment and are no interference issues. Don’t waste your money on the Airo or T3. The B530 has a reasonable price point, they are comfortable, and the sound is very, very good. Enough said.
