I didn’t know that hip surgery would stop me from sitting up, but it did. So after looking at many others I choose this brand because the ladder rungs are closer together helping to pull yourself up much easier. I kept one next to me in bed and one tucked in the back cushions of our sofa. And while my husband was at work I was able to pull myself up and as I turned my body I slightly turned the ladder. However, because of the type of bed he has there is no way to attach it. Had I known it doesn’t fit on all beds, I would’ve bought something different perhaps.
