The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because it is quite expensive for such a small pan. But, if you don't mind the cost, this pan is perfect for medium or large-sized dogs. I have a small poodle I bought this to make treats for, and I end up cutting the finished dog bone treats in half for him. I have used this for frozen treats so far - mixtures of canned pumpkin, yogurt, peanut butter, etc.. This will last and I expect no tears or rips from continual use. Frozen treats easily pop out, one at a time, as needed.It is Not sturdy enough to transfer to freezer or oven without a tray of some type under it! I use a lid from a rectangular Tupperware container when I place in the freezer. The oven would be a baking pan.Today my vet recommended I give my dog 1 tablespoon of pumpkin every day - so, I placed one tbsp at each end of the bone (empty middle) to freeze. Our East German Shepherd 6-month-old puppy has a super sensitive pupper tummy, so we make all his treats at home, using a very limited universe of ingredients. And this thing makes them look so perfectly awesome. Easy to clean, shape holds true, treats popped out super easily and no burning whatsoever.
