I was deliberating over getting a Radio Flyer tricycle which was around the same price, but after reading poor reviews on the quality of these I decide to take a punt with the Winther trike.I had not heard of Winther before but it appears to be a well known and well established iconic Danish brand of bikes. As a fan of anything Danish designed, I thought this might be the one. I looked at their Facbook page and website, which all boast good quality bikes that are designed to last a lifetime.When the bike arrived, it was extremely easy to put together - coming in only just 4 parts. You don't need any fancy tools to assemble it, just the the Alan/Hex key that is came with. The bike was just as sturdy as I expected, with very durable looking tyres. The bike itself was a great colour in vibrant pink and was in spotless condition apart from a few dirt marks on the tyres but these came off with just some water and a cloth. It's retro looking but not as retro looking as the Radio Flyer - for me it has the perfect look. Classic, simple, fun.My niece absolutely loved the bike and as expected she immediately began to fill up the storage tray with all her favourite toys. She is a little bit smaller than the average 3 year old so the seat had to be put almost all the way down but this is great news for us as she will grown into it and I expect it will last her a good few years before she upgrades to a two wheel bike.Overall I am very happy with the purchase!
