The absorption rate is very very high, as is the effectiveness. The tablets are a bit large but rounded enough that they not that hard to swallow. I will take 200mg (one tablet) when I am not having a lot of cramps and 400mg (two tablets x2 daily) when I am. These always take the cramps away where other brands and other types of magnesium never did. Plus I swear I have more energy and feel more alert since flooding my system with this product (it takes a couple weeks to feel the full benefit).
