Greener Walker 25% Extra Thick Compost 6L/10L/30L Caddy Bin Liners-120 Bags Biodegradable Kitchen Food Waste Bags(6L)

My local council recently supplied new kitchen caddies as part of a new recycling initiative and of course the scant supply of bin liners they provided didn’t last long and weren’t really very good quality. I bought these Greener Walker brand liners as they received mostly favourable reviews on Amazon and seemed good value. My caddy is 5 litres but I decided to go for the 10 litre bag size so that I could fill the caddy and still have a enough space to easily remove and tie the bag for disposal in the kitchen scraps bin outside. One problem that I had with the 5 litre bags that the council had provided was that when they were full they weren’t very easy to tie. The Greener Walker bags are not only a better size but are significantly stronger, with the bottom of each bag being nicely constructed to prevent splitting when full. In my experience, they are even strong enough to tolerate chicken bones. There also doesn’t seem to be much leak-through (liquids from the kitchen scraps passing through the bag into the caddy or bin) due to the thicker and better quality of these bags. The bags come packaged in a cardboard box which acts as a dispenser and the well-defined perforations between bags make it easy to separate them. Once separated the bags are easy to open and put into the caddy. Overall, I’m very pleased with these bin liners and recommend them for their quality and value for money. I will definitely buy these again although as I bought 150 of them it might be some time before I repeat my order!

I have used these for years now. I have tried a few others looking for a better price but always come back to these; Certified compostable bags which are strong, consistent and water proof enough to make good bin bags (no compostable bag quite matches a thick plastic bin bag, but there's lots of thin useless plastic bags around they can outcompete). These hold wet things without leaking, but biodegradable bags will sweat when they have wet things in them ime - these aren't too sweaty. They don't start degrading in the bins too quickly either, another trick wet compostable bags can pull - the bin gets filled well before these bags start returning to the earth. If dry they last ages. They're quite stretchy and cope with most household rubbish without breaking and hold a good amount. Almost never have these break on me even when they are over heavy/have pointy contents. So, for now, still the compostable bin bag of choice! Environmentally friendly choices should get a tax break or something :/

Have been using these bags for a few years now. They seem to last us a long time and the first box we got was perfect. We're currently half-way through our second box and there is a noticeable difference in the quality. Even when taking extreme care getting a new bag out of the box, they have a split down the sides or rip at the seam, rendering them useless. I'd say we're getting one good, usable bag out of three. I really like these bags so this change in quality is disappointing. Maybe they just had an issue with production last year (when I ordered and received box 2) or maybe it's a permanent issue. I won't really know until I order box 3. Box 1 lasted over 2 years, Box 2 will probably only just get us over the 12-month line. I do plan on ordering another box and giving the producers the benefit of the doubt.

These are a good fit for our food caddy and appear to be pretty leak proof. Good value.

Purchase these all the time, last for ages and good quality. Be careful when ripping the next bag as they can rip the next bag if you aren't careful. Thick enough and fit a standard food caddy well.

I find these are a perfect first for my small kitchen compost bin. They are strong enough most of the time but can always double bag them. Plenty in a box. Would recommend!

these are the best bags I have tried; they are a good size and slightly thicker which makes it easier for those with dexterity issues to open the bag. The perforated tares are very well defined so taking one from the roll is so much better and leaves you with a sealed bag every time, thanks

Pratique. Les sacs sont compostables mais je préfère les vider dans mon bac et les composter séparément car j'utilise un outil Adhoc pour mélanger mon compost et les sacs viennent tous s'enrouler autour de son manche. C'est ensuite fastidieux de les démêler ! Pour ne pas salir mon seau, je laisse déborder légèrement le sac et je le fixe avec un bracelet élastique. Cela reste esthétique et efficace. Quand il est plein je le retire et le vide dans mon composteur puis je le jette dans un trou avec les sacs précédents. Quand le trou est suffisamment rempli, je le referme avec sa terre.
