Update International 15" Silicone-Coated Oven Mitt

Very thin, your hands will still burn if you are holding something very hot (like a casserole dish).

If you want a glove to get you by this is awesome! does eveything you need. Just gets dirty a little too easy for my liking compared to other gloves! they should make it in black.

The picture for this product is misleading because it's only a single oven mitt, not a set of 2 as you would expect looking at the picture.

These mitts are a must for protecting hands when putting hot pans in and out of the oven as well as out on the grill! Their extra length means that you don't mistakenly burn your wrists on oven shelves, particularly reaching toward the back. Also, they can go on either hand, so you can grab and put them on quickly--especially in emergencies--and don't have to worry about which one's "right" and which one's "left." Just make sure to order two so you have one for each hand. If they get dirty, you can easily hand wash the surface and let them dry. Only drawback is that if you get them wet, say, by dipping a thumb into a pot of broth, the heat will transfer into your thumb and could burn. All around they are much better than clumsy silicon mutts that are often one-sided as well as big and gawky (esp for small hands that can't cope with the "one size fits all").

I like the extra length and bought 2 of these oven mitts. I bought these to replace another pair of oven mitts that I misplaced.

It is just what I need. It protects the whole wrist! Now i can safely take my cookie trays out!
