Will this kit work for me?** A: Although our new Seed Pods do have a slightly different shape, they will work in any AeroGarden model, new or old. Older models of AeroGardens came with bars installed on the inside of the water bowl. Please remove the support bars to accommodate the seed pods. They are not necessary for the garden’s operation. Push the seed pods firmly into the bowl. The Seed Pods on the sides of the Garden might appear to be slanted, this is not a problem. The flexible plastic grow basket that holds the grow sponge will bend to fit the shape of the bowl. Thank you! **Q: Has anyone grown cilantro?** A: I had great success from my single attempt. I used seeds I had harvested in the summer from my outdoor plants. I placed two or three of the seeds in the empty pod that came with the AeroGarden I received for Christmas. it took longer to germinate than most of the herbs that came with the garden herb kit. However, once established, it kept pace with the other herbs and I have been harvesting the Cilantro in small batches periodically. If I decide to harvest it all at once, I will have enough for a good size batch of salsa for canning.
