The magnet wand is pretty bad, and the habitat is much smaller than it looks. The leaf for the water is pretty small, and you need to add your own sticks if you are housing an inchworm or caterpillar. Otherwise, we think this is really good. Your insects will be able to roam freely, and if they want to be alone they can go under the fake log. Also, they get most of their water from leaves, and that is why the water leaf is really small. Also, they can go on the rock and look at everything. The stick is pretty useless, but your insect will probably like to climb it. The magnet wand isn't too bad, and it isn't THAT small. The backyard safari bug habitat can use a little work, but it is much better then where we used to keep are insects! He will try and save everything from a lizard to an ant. I thought he would really like this little bug house. When he received it I first noticed how small it was. Once it was inspected further, I noticed that the clear plastic part was just kind of sitting on top of the green bottom. There is no clip or any way to secure it so you have to pick it up by the bottom. If you want to move the things around for your bugs with the attached magnet, good luck. It is very hard to move any of the pieces around with the magnet, you have to remove the top and if you do that might as well say good bye to your bug pets.
