I was lucky in that there wasn't a single bit of damage to any of the pieces when it arrived. Mine sits on carpet so if it isn't level, I can't tell - doesn't wobble at all! The drawer has given me No problems whatsoever, knock on wood, and I open and close it on a daily basis when I'm home. It's larger than I thought I needed, but once I placed it, it was perfect, and I use the extra space (cube tissue box that I didn't have room for on my old nightstand). I absolutely Love, Love this nightstand. I personally think it was worth every penny! I hired a handyman to assemble it because I'd never done furniture assembly before, and the last thing I wanted to do was damage or scratch it on my first time ever. I watched him - he didn't seem to have any problems other than the leg holes are drilled for each position - one leg didn't fit on one side, but went right in on the other - that sort of thing, and he mentioned that. But aside from that - he had no trouble assembling it, and was Very Very careful Not to over tighten the screws so as to Not crack the mirror - Very Important!!! Both shipping cost, cost as much or more than what we paid for the nightstands themselves. We reached out to Amazon and they said they would contact the shipper but never heard back. This company is a total rip off and when you realize it it’s too late or costly to send back so they win. Amazon did not help.
