Got the smallest size for my 2 1/2 year old twins and they are still too big but I've found a way to get them on and snug. I just don't have my kids use the thumb holes and put their entire hand in the mitten itself and then snug it down with the Velcro strap. They don't mind and they stay dry and warm! Plus they have room to grow into them! Jackets with elastic ended sleeves help retain them if they're too big as well. Great purchase!
