They fit a heavy-weight plastic coated cable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ aplication with wire cable *by D***P on January 28, 2024* I used uncoated wire cable with these hooks. Initially I could not thread the cable into the hooks even though I was depressing the top botton. The trick is to keep the button depressed and insert the cable while turning the cable in the direction of twisted wires ( counter clockwise in the case of my cable). Also, make sure you have a clean cut cable with no burrs sticking out or wire splayed out.
