This hair and conditioner shampoo is an excellent choice to help retain your hair color for years after gray hair begins showing. I use it once or twice after a haircut than once a week for maintenance. Than repeat after your next cut. The shorter your hair the more difficult it is to retain or mask and gray hairs. So very short men’s cut will make it very difficult to cover up or mask any gray. It’s the simplest no nonsense coverage. Utilize in the shower and rinse thoroughly including your shower. He conditioner will give you hair soft and very full appearance and feel. This will increase that thin hair appearance to a full head of hair.

This 2-in-1 shampoo was exactly what I needed at a low price point to gradually reduce grey hair. The process is straightforward since it replaces my regular shampoo, and the results are more than adequate for a natural look. I’m giving it 4 stars because while it works well, it can stain fingernails or tile grout if you aren't careful to rinse everything immediately—but for the convenience, it is a solid value.

I am almost 55 years old. My beard is pretty much completely white (yes, not gray, actually white). My sides are pretty much the same way. The only little bit of my original dark brown hair that is left is on top and that has become less and less as time goes on. I have been using this product on both my hair and beard for a couple years or so now and had great results. I have seen some reviews reporting hair loss. My hair is pretty fine and I have had no hair loss using this product. This is the best alternative out there to traditional hair dyes. Do not expect instant results. It is not meant to work that way. It is a gradual change. When I first started using it, I used it every day until I got to the color I liked. It took around 2 weeks or so I think. Since then I use it 2 to 3 times a week and that's it. A small dab for my hair and a small dab for my beard is all it takes. You do not have to use a large amount. One tube should last you for a while. It does not work as well on very short hair. I keep my sides buzzed and it does darken some, just not as much as the longer hair. So it does look like I have a little gray on the sides, but I do not mind this. It looks much more natural than all my hair just being one solid color from hair dye. And it is not white, it still darkens some. I use this on my beard as well and have from the start. I do not think there is much difference from the Control GX they sell for beards. But as I said, it does not work as well on shorter hair. So if you have a close cropped beard, your results will vary. I do get some darkening of the fingernails, but I just use a fingernail file on them to remove the stains about once every couple months. Not a big deal and small price to pay for the convenience and natural results. So if you are tired of trying cover your gray with traditional hair dye, this product is definitely worth a try. I am very happy that I discovered it and I will never go back to traditional hair dyes. Natural looks, convenience and great cost make this a must have and a great value. Highly recommended.

Not nearly as effective as I thought and you will definitely need to use a dark colored towel to dry your hair. I'm used to hair dyes that you leave in for 5 minutes and presto your hair is back to it's original color. This works more gradually, but it fades away faster too especially do not wash your hair with it every single day or if you swim in a pool every day. Perhaps this was a good invention, but for whatever reason it hasn't worked well for me nor do I like getting stains on my white wall tiles & white Egyption cotton towels. I'll stick with what works best, the hair dye. I only need to use that once every 3-4 weeks, it's more convenient, and there's far less mess.

I absolutely love this product and have been using it for over six years. It keeps the color looking great without causing any skin irritation. Just a heads-up: it can get messy in the shower and splatter black onto the walls if you don't apply it carefully, but it's totally worth it.

I use it twice a week to keep my entire head minimally gray. Simply shampoo and condition your hair using a small amount to lather your hair. The amount will depend on how much hair you have. Allow the shampoo conditioner to sit on at least 90 seconds (I let it stay on approx three minutes). Rinse thoroughly and you are done. Expert advice: - when opening the foil under the cap, only create a small hole. Keep it small minimizing the air allowed in to increase longevity. Less air in the longer it lasts. I can usually use the same container for an entire month. - You hair will not change completely the first time you use it. It will take several applications to fully reduce the gray to where you want it. - Once you get to where your happy with the amount of gray, you can reduce the number of times a week you use it. Like I said earlier I only need to do it twice a week. - when you are applying the shampoo conditioner try to avoid getting it on your finger nails and cuticles as it will dye them. Use the palms of your hands to massage it in. If you do get it on your fingers (I do every-time) wash your hands thoroughly. This should remove the dye and your fingers wont look dirty. I love the product and have found nothing better.
