I appreciate it has a jump ring attached so I can add it to my running belt or any backpack or gear. It's a must for any camper or athlete. After using both hands to actuate it and my Wingman to actually unseat the blades I intuitively soaked the hinges etc in liquid wrench. Let the rust spill out. Apparently the grit was rust and the internals must have gotten moist during storage. Well after about and hour of liquid wrench and WD 40 along with some serious two handed repetitive gym like actuation of all the parts especially the pliers it stopped flowing with rust and loosened up like I am assuming it should have been. The end product is an old school multi tool that is obviously not high end. I am suspicious of the grade of steel however it is soaked in ballistol and I will put it through it's paces on my work truck. I am not sure if I will use it as a "bug out bag" tool. The screwdriver heads are very small and I am not feeling a super positive lock up when the tools are engaged. It is not bad you get what you pay for. The wood is cool.
