I really don’t know the requirements for a clean room the ladder mate is made of very tough plastic or resin. It is very strong and durable. Easy to wash and keep clean

Looks like a great design but, do you have to remove it in case you need to close the ladder legs ?

Yes, but it just sits on the ladder. It doesn't attach, so all you have to do is lift it off to close the ladder. It's a terrific item to use when painting. Very helpful.

Will this work on a Green Bull step ladder ?
