Ived used these in doorways and recently added them to a divider craft project to add some drama and suttle privacy. The more you add and layer the thicker the effect. Make sure you meaure your space to get the right amount you'll need in width also if too long you can cut bottom to adjust in height. It looks so classy and it fits perfectly with my decor. It is also a lovely material. I ordered the light coffee thinking it would be a little more brown, but it turned out slightly more orange than I expected - which is perfect because I wanted orange, but I played it safe and picked something more subdued. Ultimately this is exactly what I wanted to divide my kitchen and living room. I fit it on an AmazonBasics bronze tension rod and it works perfectly. But beads are too thin. The strands they spread apart as should at the top,but strands at least 80% at bottom like to cling to each other. Therefore there are gaps thru two thirds of hanging curtain. They are not heavy enough to fall back to normal position, they like to cling to you,and follow you. Now I have to go look for better curtains that are more hideful of what's on other side. Real disappointment. Also,when you hang,need to buy a dowl. I used a nylon rope,but hard to get thru the hanger part of curtain.
