Interesting taste. Not as hot. It's a great tweener spice!!

I put spice on everything I eat prettymuch. Red pepper is very much on the mild side for me, I can dump on a bunch, and it's not all that spicy, just adds a little kick. I've gone through several of these sized jars in the past year. I'd have to say aver eating several pounds of the regular grind, this is really the way to go. It's easier to use (easier to spread out more evenly, due to small size of the grind), and provides about the same amount of heat as regular crushed red pepper. The flavor is probably as good as any I've had. As an added benefit, doesn't seem to get caught in your teeth like the standard size (I hate picking them out of my teeth and gums). Give it a try, good stuff!

We order regularly. Finer flakes and minimal seeds in comparison to regular red pepper flakes. Great flavor and spice level.

Last container we got was better. Entirely red. This one we just received is as least 50% white seeds.

I love this finely crushed red pepper. I use it on everything. I sprinkle it on all soups and casserole's. There is nothing you can’t use it on. I love spiced foods and I like it because it is not the big pieces of red peppers that get into your teeth. I have tried a lot of other brands but this one is the best and last forever.

This pepper is flavorful. Its size is similar to 16 mesh black pepper. I mix equal volumes of this product with 16 mesh black pepper for homemade “hot shot” (a discontinued McCormick spicy pepper).

I don't like seeds in regular red pepper flakes. But with double cut I haven't had a problem! I really like this!
