**Q: What the is difference between this kit and the Hach HA-71a (145201)?**
A: This kit will only read in gpg or grains per gallon. Test Kit HA-71A will read in mg/L or gpg. 1 gpg is approx. 17 mg/L, so HA-71A allows for much lower concentration readings. The other difference is the test range. This kit reads 0-30 gpg. Kit HA-71A can read 0-20 mg/L and 0-20 gpg.

**Q: Does this test work for salt free systems?**
A: This kit should work in most salt free systems.

**Q: Does the kit come with box?**
A: Hello PHI T. This kit does come with the box that is pictured. Please let us know if you need anything else.

**Q: Do they have expiration date?**
A: The tritant solution in our kit has an October 2020 expiration date and the bag containing the little packages of ammonium chloride has a Sept. 2020 expiration date. We've had our kit for about a month.
