I would assume it is a Chinese version of the wheeler. All the parts are metal and compared to the wheeler version is about the same. I did have a problem with the first time using the product. When I turn the adjust wheel on the side to remove the rear sight the set screw was stripped out. However it did come with a replacement set screw and after extracting the old and put new one in. This tool works just fine.
