Well worth the extra money for the turn table. Love this game! Always have lots of fun with family and friends playing this game and now it is even easier since we can turn the board!

What a fun family game! Very easy set up, with a stable board that protects the plays from rowdy players!

Words with Friends Luxe comes with a board that rotates like a lazy susan. Makes taking turns easy. The letter tiles are yellow just like on the phone app. It is a glorified scrabble game for the younger generation. The tiles are placed and secure on the board. It allows you to go on your phone and download an app that will help you keep score, thus the phone insert slot in your own letter holder. We were unable to download it on our phones. It doesn't give you a direct link, only the website information. It comes with a bag to keep all the tiles in place for storage and to mix them up during game play. Again, just like scrabble. It's a nice sturdy game board, the letter holders are curved, but doesn't seem to bug me as much as the yellow color of the tile. They are almost three dimensional and I don't like looking at them too long. It's the dimension and color that it too much combined. The game also doesn't give you a score sheet and pencil. Which would have been quite helpful if you don't have a phone to download the score app. Gameplay is long and tedious as expected. I would recommend it.

It's just ok. The tile-lock system is barely there...they won't fall out on their own, but don't shake the table. Could have used more bells and whistles to justify the price tag.

Don't waste your money. I was looking forward to playing this with my grandsons but the website that is supposed to allow you to play the game is down and there is no phone support. The game is cheaply made compared to Scrabble Deluxe. The board came apart each time it was turned to face the next player. The numbers were much harder to read. If it would allow I would have given this zero stars. It such a disappointment that even when I offered to let them take it home they said, "No, thanks."

The tile holders are unwieldy in their rounded shape. The game board is considerably more rectangular than is necessary for a square game playing surface and requires far more table surface than a spinning square one would. I do like the way the board surface snaps together so it takes less space to store. Perhaps I'm a purist, but I prefer wood tiles to plastic...this game is not as LUXE as it could be.

For those that have enjoyed playing Words With friends on the Internet this is a chance to play with up to four players. Nice rotating board with good looking tiles that are held in place by a grid of ridges. A smart phone app is available that will assist in keeping score and other useful functions. I just gifted this to my sister-in law so I don't know how that works yet.

Loved this game online, to be fair not that much different to scrabble but this seems much more fun and entertaining. There is a slight added twist in play, which you will enjoy. Absolutely fab for game night or even with your partner of a quiet evening to pass the time and relieve the boredom. Simple gameplay rules, use your tiles to make words on the board. The more you excel and use higher point squares, the more likely you will be the mighty wordsmith. I started with this on Facebook, and I don't usually play online games, I gave it a try just out of boredom, when I received a floating request from a friend. It really is better than scrabble, much more fun, and of course can even help improve your vocabulary. You'll be amazed what words can materialise out the corners of your mind and that of your partner when you play Words With Friends.

All the family love playing scrabble and spotted this one. The turntable is a brilliant idea and have had many an enjoyable game - Grandson thinks it brilliant and we like using the orange plastic smooth letters. Well made product and comes in a sturdy box with a handle which makes the set is easy to store.

We set this up on Boxing Day & the whole family got into teams & played with ages ranging from 10 - 75 years old = great fun. We haven't set up the online connection yet - this is done via a code on a little card found within the box, which could get lost (erhem I did for a few hours lol) so be careful is doesn't get thrown away...nevertheless we enjoyed it & definitely glad I chose this over Scrabble :-)

Would have given it 5 stars if the mobile link worked can only use as a board game but ok for that similar to scrabble so disappointing
