Not only is it cute, but makes the whole process very easy. The child does not need to suck very hard to get water out, and the tiniest squeeze of the bottle makes the water travel up the straw. Its a great learning tool. My only criticism is that when my son threw the bottle, the cover broke off. Not a big deal because it was still usable to cover the straw, its just now a separate piece.
