Easy to install although it takes slightly longer than estimated. YouTube will help allot. Everything goes on well with the exception of the pin connector plate that screws into the underside of the bumper. Some directions will tell you to cut out additional plastic so the plug will align and to remove the plastic shroud. First get your self two longer self tapping screws, two nuts and some 3m two sided tape. The nuts need to be about 3/8th of an inch thick. Have someone hold back the shroud and use the double sided tape to place the plug bracket into place and drill two pilot holes. Remove the plate and place the two nuts between the plate and the metal cross member. These will act as spacers that the self tapping screw will go through and will position the plug in the proper place. Put the plug together and then while someone hold back the plastic use the self tapping screws to put the plug into place. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Socket cover hits bumper *by R***S on Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2014* I am relatively handy with common electrical knowledge. I completed this install my self and it took about an hour. The product mounted together as advertised until I got to the point of mounting the bracket to the hitch. After playing with bending the bracket, the socket cover is still hitting the plastic bumper. I will have to be very careful I do not snap off the socket cover when opening it. I have to lift the bumper up a bit to open the socket cover all the way. I would have given this five stars if I did not have the cover issue.Watch the YouTube video. Very easy directions, but if you want it explained, you can go on You Tube and watch the video. Kit includes all fuses, relays, wire connections, plug and bracket. Even includes wire ties and double sided tape to install converter box.This kit is for the round 7 wire trailer plug, not the flat 4 wire plug. When you done installing this kit, every thing is ready in the trailer connector, even the back up lights and 12 volt accessory wires are hooked up in the plug. The only thing you would have to buy is the electric brake controller. But even that is already wired into the plug.
