Pfister 00731XA 2-Handle Shower Only Rough-In Valve

No complaints love the simplicity and function. Trim kit is LG07-81BC, I found it sold by several online stores. Price varies from $60 to $200. The directions don't even help when looking for the trim kit. I stumbled on it accidentally

Valve is built good, no leaks and was easy to install. The only problem I had was finding a trim kit that would work with it. I had to use a universal set of handles and wall trim from my old faucet. Overall very happy and I have a full power shower again.

Perfect replacement, perfect fit.

Replaced old shower valve which was almost identical. The listing states shower only but the instructions pictured with valve show shower up tub down which is what I needed. I did not need a new shower head or tub spout so I purchased Danco handles for Phister and Danco 10307 universal tube and flange assembly which worked perfect.

Well, I always give these Price Pfisters a 5 star. The only problem is that the valve shown in the picture which is the one I am seeing right now is the one that I wanted. But I did not get this valve. I got a newer version of this valve and not only is the trim not interchangeable, but the stems are shorter on the one they sent. Unfortunately, I could not exchange like for like and had to spend extra time and money which I did not have on this particular job. So I have to take it as a learning process. I think the old valves shown in this picture are not Lead Free and so they are limited to only selling the Lead Free in USA. I just hope they, (Amazon) will learn from this and change the picture so that I will not have to loose money again like I had to here. It was also a very bitchy handy lady that I started out doing this for whom wouldn't admit that she stripped the old seat in the original valve when she was trying to make a bundle of money on the owners with here magic unlicensed hat. She was very deceiving when she asked me to just come for a few minutes and help her out by changing the seat. When I got there, I knew right away after being in business for forty two years and specializing in service and repair what she had done. She then went on to make it look like I had done it to the owner whom I had no communication with. From there on, she hassled me through this whole order with 15 phone calls because the valve was leaking 8 gallons a day. Oh boy, we are in Hilo Hawaii, the rainiest city in the world, and the owners were not even at home as she was in the hospital during this time. So the leak was just as if she were taking one shower a day anyway. Thanks for letting me get this off my chest. And A-M-A-Z-O-N, change the picture please! Aloha, Paul

Super tough product! Has held up for quite some time and no leaks! Can handle temp and pressure! Super easy to install.

We live in a mobile home and have had a hard time finding plumbing parts that fit with the home. These came thru with flying colors and the quality was more than we had expected! With the world being so expensive and the quality so poor in most products we were shocked that it was so well made and the cost was well worth every nickel 😀

DO NOT BUY THIS, THE SHOWER FLANGES WONT FIT. I BOUGHT 2 FOR 2 BATHROOMS AND SHOWER FLANGES DONT FIT, I REACHED OUT TO THE SUPPLIER. GAVE ME A PART NUMBER, THE FLANGES DONT EXIST AT HOME DEPOT, AND IF YOU BUY ON AMAZON 1 FLANGE IS $40 X2 IS $80 PLUS TAX..... NOT WORTH IT.... NOW I NEED TO MODIFY MY OLD FLANGES TO FIT. SELLER WOULD NOT HELP IN ANY WAY, JUST EMAILS BACK AND FORTH.
