It uniquely holds doors open at three key points—top, hinge, or floor—allowing seamless movement of personnel and products. Compact and lightweight, it’s designed for high visibility and long-lasting performance in professional environments. ## Description Wedge-It was designed by a Fireman to hold self-closing doors open during a fire or emergency. It is also used today by Police, Bomb Squads S.W.A. T, Fire Departments, Ambulance Personnel, Moving & Delivery, Hotel Bellhops and Housekeeping. One big advantage of teh Wedge-It over a standard door wedge is that the door can swing further open, but will always stay open 90 degrees when the door swings back. A standard door wedge gets in the way and is either kicked away or does not hold the door when the door swings back. The Wedge-It will work from any of 3 different locations on the door - TOP, OVER THE HINGE or ON THE FLOOR. Review: Works Great! (photos) - It takes a bit of playing with but I'm satisfied I got my money's worth. First: photo Bottom of door over carpet. Gripped well. My door is too high to use regular door stops and they slide over the carpet but this locks the door right in place with no slips. Second photo: Over the hinge - works ok if you want to ventilate a hall but for my door layout it wasn't open wide enough. Third-Fifth photos: This position keep my outside door open over 90 degrees and was easy to place and remove. This door was the main door I needed the wedge for as I have to move a family member in/out of the apartment in a transit chair over a ramp I drop in place. The materials seem like it will last a while but only time will tell. If I have any issues with quality I'll update the review but for now the quality is very good. Review: Works really well! - Works really well at the hinge, I make deliveries and often encounter self closing doors. This works well even with heavy doors. The cheaper ones On T&mu snapped in half second use, that makes them not so cheap. ## Features - Holds doors open to 90 Degrees from any of 3 Locations - TOP, HINGE or FLOOR - Virtually indestructible - Made of LEXAN plastic - Allows personnel or products to be moved in/out without the door closing or hitting - Lime Green ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00N4M2UCM | | Best Sellers Rank | #21,144 in Office Products ( See Top 100 in Office Products ) #161 in Door Stops | | Brand | Wedge-It | | Brand Name | Wedge-It | | Color | Green | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 1,266 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00633409001004 | | Item Highlight | Wedge-It WEDGE-IT-1 The Ultimate Door Stop, Lime Green | | Item Weight | 2.4 ounces | | Manufacturer | Wedge-It | | Manufacturer Part Number | Wedge-It Lime Green | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | WEDGE-IT-1 | | Mount Type | Floor Mount | | Mounting Type | Floor Mount | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Product Style | Modern | | Style | Modern | | UPC | 733353740575 885837375701 767654302828 785479618658 633409001004 885592460841 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Wedge-It - **Color:** Green - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 00633409001004 - **Manufacturer:** Wedge-It - **Material:** Plastic - **Mounting Type:** Floor Mount - **Number of Pieces:** 1 - **Style:** Modern - **UPC:** 733353740575 885837375701 767654302828 785479618658 633409001004 885592460841 ## Images ![Wedge-It WEDGE-IT-1 The Ultimate Door Stop, Lime Green - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61neDF5sVqL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works Great!
