It’s reasonably well made and the adjustment is very fine which is great for a kitten to make sure you avoid the quick. The issue I have with it is that the jaws are very big, to the point that I can barely see my cats claws while I’m trying to get them in the hole and taking several attempts. What should be a two second job per claw is taking a lot longer and the cat starts to get restless. The jaws are unnecessarily large and could be significantly smaller so you can see what you’re doing and would also be easier to manoeuvre the claw in without the paw obstructing it. Probably fine for a dog. Overall a great idea but a bit large and over engineered.

I was struggling to clip my kittens nails beforehand and was getting worried about keeping them trimmed. With this clipper it's easier than ever. I'm able to clip her nails without any help and it's a lot less stressful since I don't have to worry about cutting the quick since I've adjusted the setting so it cannot be done on accident

The best nail clipper for my dogs! I have a chow & a shepherd Laberdoodle mix. My chow has very thick nails & hates nail trims. The other is good about nail trims but her nails are all black. This clipper is almost goof proof. I measured the tips of their nails with the cardboard template, & dialed the clipper to that size. I did have to dial open a little more, but you can tell if you have too much or too little nail in the clipper. I liked I could size it up or down cause not all nails are the same size. It will take a little bit more practice but I'm not afraid of cutting to deep. They cut quick & quiet. Even though my chow had to wear a 'party hat' while having his done, after the first couple nails he wasn't having the anxiety attack he generally gets with nail trims & we were done in no time. My other one slept through her trim. Still takes a little practice but highly recommend

I was surprised at how easy these clippers were to use. My 8 month old kitten is quite lively! but we were able to clip her nails surprisingly easily with these clippers. Once set to an approximate size, the hole easily slides over a nail, allowing for an easy cut. The motion is easy, quiet (so it doesn't freak her out) and they cut cleanly. Very happy with this purchase.

I never leave reviews. On top of that, this is my fourth attempt at writing a review because my app keeps refreshing. So that tells you how much I love these nail clippers, that I’m willing to redo it four times! I have three small dogs and three cats and for the first time EVER, nail trims were a breeze! I am shocked at how much I love these. I have already sent this link to multiple friends to purchase. I have gone through so many different pairs in the past and could never find anything this perfect. They were either too flimsy, too bulky, too dull. You name it. And I even have three different sizes of the other version they have. Don’t even bother with those. Get these! These are lightweight, sturdy, and SHARP. They feel solid. There is no kick when I’m cutting the nails either, which I think my animals appreciated. And they are adjustable! Just do it. I promise it will be worth it.
