I was building my own rocket for fun and ordered these mounts. Just makes it that much easier and faster to get in the air by having mounts from a Name brand, cut to fit standard size engines. Glue and GO!

One of my rockets had the screw on engine cap, and during one of the launches, the whole inside mount and cap assembly came loose and wasn't repairable. This kit was exactly what I needed to make a new mount with a retention clip instead of the screw cap (which I never really liked anyway).

I bought these parts because I like try to recreate older kits I had when I was a kid. These engine mount kits are good if you like to scratch build with Estes parts or you like to kit bash your own design.
