Review: Perfect size for my project - All the other hanging terrariums I looked at were far too large for what I wanted to do so I hunted and hunted and finally found these. They're the perfect size for building a terrarium for air plants in and add some visual interest to the space I hung them in. I used a funnel to get the gravel and sand inside and tweezers to place the accents. These are good quality and sturdy. I do wish there was some extra chain included as I hung mine in an asymmetrical fashion and the extra chain I found at a local hardware store didn't match.
Review: super cute decoration but not very functional - cute! Not the best quality but for 3 at $30 it’s a good buy. These are decorative and obviously do not have drainage holes. Someone in the reviews complained it isn’t water tight. It isn’t supposed to be. This isn’t for plants you water heavily! If you aren’t an experienced plant parent it would best be used with decorative rocks and fake succulents. Air plants need to be removed from them, soaked in water and then returned to the hangers. If you use real succulents you’ll need to do a bottom layer of rocks and then a middle layer of cactus/succulent soil and a layer or rocks on top. The succulents should be misted a couple times a week and placed out of direct sunlight but in a bright spot with indirect light. Hope this helps!
