I bought these pillows because I wanted a solid, natural down (re: not synthetic!) pillow to fill my new square levtex linen pillow duvets. That they are made in America is icing on the cake. The pillows are quite nice for decorative throws, very large and good for lounging. They arrive rolled up tight but fluff up extremely nicely with less than a minute of effort. They're obviously not designed to be sleep pillows (price reflects this), but they have a nice firmness to them and I like the feeling of the feather/down mix. The pillows feel high quality and the fiber/filling content is exactly as listed. If you want a good product that supports American jobs, look no further. Every down pillow I need will be from them from now on.

Just received my ComfyDown feathers and down inserts today and very pleased. If anything changes down the road I’ll edit the review. I’m expecting since this is labeled “downproof,” with the 233 thread count cover, that there won’t be issues with the feathers poking out. I’m counting on the other past reviewers pleased with this insert and don’t mind paying a little extra for the higher quality. I did an internet search that said that the key to making it downproof is the long staple cotton cover vs. the short. I don’t think the description said anything about long staple but I am assuming it is, given there are currently no complaints in the reviews. You can have a higher thread count with short staple and it won’t be downproof. Two more points: 1. Validating a great suggestion by a previous purchaser to keep the insert in the condensed plastic wrap and open it INSIDE your pillow cover, and fluff it up after it’s already inside. I did not need to put the inserts in the dryer at all. (The instructions said you can either fluff them yourself or use the dryer.) This was much easier, and prevented me being worried about breaking the zipper. I inserted them so the tag end would be on the side of the zipper, and then I was easily able to cut off the standard legal disclosure tag. 2. My input on sizing: I only needed to go up 1” in sizing for my pillow cover instead of the typical 2”. These are not wimpy inserts. My faux fur pillow covers from a higher end store were an odd size at 23” square. Instead of paying quite a bit more for the 25” insert, I decided to try the better value 24” insert and very pleased with just the right amount filling. Able to do the karate chop look. If you want your pillow to be completely firm/maxed out, then you probably want to go up 2”.

Great product. I bought 31x31 size to fill 26" covers with zippers. I wanted to replace the 3 big pillows that go across the back of my couch-the ones that came with the couch- because they were filled with cheap polyester loose "fuzz" that flattened out within less than a year. Because these pillows were the actual back of my couch, I ordered 5" bigger than the covers, so they would be way more full. It worked out perfectly because the feather/down is so much more cushy. The pillows plumped up quickly out of the package, with some fluffing, and letting them sit for an hour or so. The cotton outside cover is not crunchy sounding, but sturdy and soft. Very easy to manipulate into the covers and fluff up. No feathers poking through. I'm so very happy that this all worked out! Delivery Packaging, however, was horrifying, with the box ripped open on 2 sides, and product part way sticking out. Tape barely holding things in. I was shocked that nothing was damaged.

Wonderful pillow--very fluffy and full, quality workmanship. It has a lot of feathers and down to make it nice and fluffy with a lot of loft, and the fabric is nice and smooth so it goes into a pillow cover easily. Another thing that I like is that the seams are very nicely done--this pillow is not going to fall apart of leak feathers, and it's made in the USA. I have been disappointed with pillow inserts in the past--they've been flat and I've needed 2 or more to create a fluffy pillow, or they look like they've been thrown together and don't last long. This one is perfect! I put it in the pillow cover before I fluffed it up, and that made it easier to get in. Then I fluffed it up and it's so nice and fluffy and full. I'll definitely be buying these pillow inserts again when I need a pillow insert. I highly recommend!

These inserts are fabulous and fluffy/cozy. I put them in the dryer for about 7 minutes and they came out big and soft and wonderful. They are firm enough, but not too firm that they aren't comfortable. My friend has these inserts and they have lasted and held their shape really well. These are good quality pillow inserts and worth the extra cost over cheaper versions.

Great pillows for the price. Not super fluffy and plush. But they do the job better than cheaper pillows and hold their shape well. I would order again.

These seem pricey compared to other pillow stuffers on amazon, but they are the best. Great quality! dont be fooled by some of the other cheap ones. These fluff and stay fluffed. And the cover is nice. Some of the cheap ones, you could very easily rip the cover trying to put it in the pillow cover, but these are great. Buy one size up from your pillow if you like fluffy pillows.

Pillows are pretty hard - not fluffy.

There are cheaper options for pillow inserts but you pay a bit more for the quality down fill that you get with ComfyDown. This fill has a real density to it, but is still soft. Cheaper fills just don't provide the support that these inserts do. I also haven't found any stray feathers poking out like I have with some of the cheaper feather inserts that I have, since these are 95% down. My only recommendation would be to up size the insert by 2 inches per side to get it to really fill out your pillow case.

Bought a couple as decorative for our bed and ended up buying 3 more for our couch. If you put them in a pillow case a size down, they a nice and plump looking.
