The lights can be run off of three AA batteries or from usb but my only complaint is the usb lead is far too short so I’ll need a long extension so it reaches to the plug socket or run it off a power bank but I’m not a fan of having to charge it up. Wish there were little grooves in some of the Lego bricks to allow easier fit but minor detail really. Makes the set comes to life even in daytime. Usb makes it much more practical, economical and brighter.
