Almost impossible to find the second season. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Can't Get Enough *by S***N on Reviewed in the United States on May 2, 2012* I'll admit, when I watched the first episode of Legend of the Seeker on Netflix I was deeply disappointed. I had almost finished the first book in the Sword of Truth series Wizard's First Rule and I watched in horror as the story that it had taken me 800+ pages to read was almost all but given away in under an hour of only the first episode of the series. It left me to wonder how on earth they could have a story worth telling if everything was already revealed AND altered quite a bit. Needless to say, it took me a while to start up the second episode but let me tell you I am SO GLAD that I did.Once you separate the show from the books you'll be pleasantly entertained and swept off your feet by this series and its colorful assortment of characters. In each episode Richard and his faithful friends are faced with a new adventure and must overcome yet another obstacle that stands between them and their true goal. To defeat Darken Rahl.Now, as a kid I LOVED watching shows like Xena Warrior Princess and Hercules so I rather enjoyed the fact that this series had qualities not unlike those shows. The witty humor, the action scenes, maybe even a bit corny at times but still very enjoyable. Its a series that is entertaining whether you've read the books or not. The characters are lovable and dare I say it, captivating.Before picking up this series I had never seen Craig Horner in any other films or TV shows, mostly because this was his breakout role. And man am I happy it was. (This is the part where I let my infatuation with Craig Horner take the reins for a bit, so bare with me). Every good story needs a good hero. Richard/Horner plays a hero that you can't help but root for. He's kind and forgiving but he's merciless when it comes to fighting for what he believes in. And in truth he played this role REALLY well. If I had to formulate an idea of what Richard was like in my mind I don't think it would be as true to character as Craig Horner was able to portray. Need I mention how attractive he is? I mean, some episodes wowed me more than others, I'll be honest, but Horner never let me down in the swoon-worthy department.Before I get even more sidetracked I have to say that as far as entertainment goes this series never let me down. Maybe it's not entirely true to the book but that's something you have to expect from a television adaptation.
