I’m 28 weeks and before this belt I would just deal with the back pain and pelvic pain and just walk slower but I am so over it and glad I just ordered this right when it got delivered I put it on and see why mothers have these lol it helps so much with my lower back pains and my lower stomach in front feels so supportive.

For the most part, it works. I bought the AZMED Maternity Belt mainly because every time I jogged or even walked sometimes, I would get pain on the top of my vagina (pretty much the mons pubis region). The first time I tried jogging with it, I still felt some pain, but yesterday I wore it to my exercise class (squats, some weight lifting and jogging and walking) and I felt great! No pain around my lower abdominals (another troublesome area) or pain in my PGP. I also really like how smooth it is under clothing. That wasn't a make or break for me, but a definite plus. I'm the type that likes to wear as little clothing as possible (especially in 90+ degree heat!), so I am currently only wearing it when I'm exercising, but I will probably start wearing it more at night as well since that's when my body tends to get more tired and pained. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner. I am 31 weeks and my pain started more around 20 weeks :( . This is my second baby and these pains began much earlier with this pregnancy than my first. I am 5'10 and weighed 143 pre pregnancy and am around 175 now and my belly circumference is 43in. There is definitely some of the band left over and I had to adjust it a couple times during my workout, which is a little bit of a pain, but overall worth it. Summary: Pros: supportive, fits well under clothing, easy to put on by myself, easily washable Cons: extra fabric needs to be adjusted sometimes, may not offer enough support depending on your needs

I tried two others from Amazon before deciding on this one. What's a winner is: the quality of the belly band, the sturdiness of the material, using the restroom is easy with this band, and the fit is easily adjustable. I used it at the hospital while doing 8 hour shifts. I freaking love it! I can always move it up or down depending on where it falls on my belly. I can use the restroom without having to unstrap this band. I just readjust it under my belly (I pull it down) without having to redo the velcro strap afterwards. I don't tend to use it if I know I will be sitting down for long periods of time but that's because my baby starts to kick. The baby doesn't like the snugness of this band while I am sitting. HOWEVER, I could easily loosen it up when I sit to fix that problem. So don't waste your time and money getting cheaper/less expensive belly bands or more complex ones. Just get this one and know that you're time and money are well spent! Update: so looking back on my pregnancy this band saved me big time along with compression socks. I used them both early on (4 months pregnant until birth). I barely got a tiny stretch mark and I can safely say it was thanks to not gaining more weight than recommended and also using this band. I do not advice to use this to prevent stretch marks, but rather to support your belly and make pregnancy easier. I got more varicose veins due to pregnancy but my legs and feet were never swollen while pregnant. I say get it and compression socks too. Use them every day all day. It will make your pregnancy easier (not easy though) and I still freaking love this band!

It was good at first but now at 20 weeks it feels like it’s compressing the baby and it’s starting to hurt my belly. Adjusting, making it looser, more tight, or trying to change the position of it isn’t helping anymore and I’m most likely going to have to get a new one. Also not a huge fan of having to fasten it in the back, if my husband isn’t around it’s hard to adjust it to the right fit by myself. For the first half of my pregnancy it did help relieve my back pain and made my 12hr shifts bearable. It does leave groove marks and gets itchy after hours of wearing like others have mentioned.

The basics and the only one Ive found that works wonders! I started needing this around 3 months pregnant because of the excruciating hip and lower back pain and this was recommended to me by my OBGYN. Changed my life working a job that requires me to be on my feet and absolutely relived the pelvic pressure I was feeling terribly with such a low baby. Don't wait to purchase- this isn't just for people who are nearly due. Wish I would have known about it sooner as a first time mom! Great value for money, adjustable fit to grow with you, and great support. Can be challenging to put on yourself since its adjusted from the back to fit tight enough but that is the ONLY flaw.

As a plus size pregnant woman (size 18/20 pre pregnancy) I ordered this product after seeing it on tik tok from another plus sized creator. Navigating pregnancy while already being bigger has been a bit difficult so seeing a product that could help was awesome. I read some reviews saying it was not great for bigger girls so i’m not sure how many sizes up this could work for past pre pregnancy 18/20 but i felt immediate relief after putting this on. i’ve had very bad back pain upper and lower as well as a lot of ligament pain starting at 19ish weeks and this alleviated all of that quickly. I did have to put it on backwards to easily strap the velcro to the tightness and size i needed but it was simple to twist around like a bra and lift my belly into and position correctly. my one gripe is it slightly accentuates my back rolls 😅 but other than that i’d recommend this product for its price and ease! i’m currently 22 weeks and there seems to be still a lot of room for the velcro to expand so i’m hopeful it will continue to be a great product as my body changes.

i personally recommend this for pregnant women, eases back pain and it is easy and comfortable to wear under or over clothes.

My wife loves it. Big help for her specially the posture.
