Definitely 5 stars! This corn bread is moist and really good! We tried it and both liked it much better than the dry stuff we usually used to. (Sorry, Hon.) We liked it so much we bought 4 more packs just to be sure it’s always on hand. It was easy to make. Open Pack. Add water, stir, back and serve. Couldn’t be easier. I bought because of the Mary Collender reputation and from experience with their frozen foods.

As wonderful as I remember! There is no other alternative for cornbread, as far as I’m concerned. I know the packaging is better for recycling but I wish they still came in those cardboard cans. Just the perfect balance of sweet and savory, crumb and moisture. I still have to make a batch of that heavenly honey butter to accompany it.

Makes the best cornbread

The best two things about this product is that the buyer needs to add only water to make it, so a kid can bake her own muffins. The other good thing is that it's lower in calories than the other brands I've seen in the grocery store. That said, I can buy it cheaper elsewhere. (A big box store near me used to sell it in convenient 5-pound bags.)

Delicious instant cornbread mix. Just like the Marie Calendars restaurants in California. Makes great cornbread stuffing too!

Pretty decent cornbread! Sometimes I don’t have the ingredients needed to make regular cornbread (like eggs, butter, milk) but with this mix, you only need water! It’s the first time I tried this brand, and I’ll be back for more! Yumm!

Excellent product. Prefer it to Jiffy brand.
